What's the role about?
The Senior Commercial Analyst is responsible for working across multiple channels to optimise commercial performance. Helping the business to achieve key objectives, with a focus on optimising supply chain and sales channel performance.
They are responsible for ensuring the commercial team under their supervision provide advice, insights and analysis on each program and account in order to generate earnings in line with the set budget and annual plan targets.
Ensure the team are providing timely insights to the sales, finance and operational functions in order to establish and adjust purchase, sale and disposition prices, enabling the management of stock and inventory levels and ultimately maximising profitability.
Does this sound like you?
- 3+ years’ experience in Commercial, Financial Analysis, Business Intelligence or a similar industry
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Data Science, Mathematics or related field
- Commercial acumen and agility
- Understanding of supply planning, purchasing, channel optimisation and pricing in online retail environment
- Extremely strong excel modelling/calculation skills with a focus on data accuracy and an ability to creatively problem solve
- Flexible mindset and ability to successfully prioritize important tasks across the role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a small team driving rapid growth
- Autonomous and adaptable to an ever-changing business environment
- Extremely well planned, able to work to firm deadlines and results driven
- Ability to provide leadership and support to team members and develop a strong culture of teamwork.
